While no progress has been made on Ben's Story, I have been busy writing to complete a BFA at Boise State. Over a leisurely 8 years of taking random writing classes, I was informed that it was time to declare a major in order to get the senior discount! So, that's what I did.
My classes were mostly fun and helpful. In fact, my last fiction class involved an entire semester of re-editing NPD. The professor was also working on his first novel, so he had lots of good tips. Fun fact: NPD was completed 12 years ago! So, it's that much closer to being published, though that road is still murky.
This summer, I hope to find time to continue writing. The grandkids asked me if I was going to have a new job, now that I had a new degree. I said, "Yes! Writer!" I'd better be an honest grandma.
